Building a sim rig that doesn't take over the room
Direct drive, load-cell pedals and a compact frame — what mattered most for consistency, and what I'd skip.

The upgrade that made me faster wasn't the wheel. It was the pedals.
Pedals before wheelbase
Load-cell brakes measure pressure, not travel — which is how real braking works. Consistency improved within a week.
A rigid frame matters
Flex in the frame turns into noise in your inputs. An aluminum-profile cockpit fixed that, and folds against the wall when it's not in use.
What I'd skip
RGB everything, and a triple-screen setup before the basics are dialed in.
