Early-season legs — a simple pre-season snowboard routine
Three sessions a week for six weeks before the lifts open, built around single-leg strength and endurance.

Most early-season soreness is a strength-endurance problem, and it's very fixable.
The routine
- Bulgarian split squats — 3 × 10 per leg
- Lateral lunges — 3 × 8 per side
- Wall sits — 3 × 60 seconds
- Box jumps — 3 × 6, focused on soft landings
Progression
Add load or time every week. By opening day, the first run should feel like the tenth.
